I will always remember my friend and coach. He always got the best out of me. He was a proud AGGIE and a great coach. I last saw him at the Angelo Football clinic in June of 2010. He always said positive things to me and he helped me in my coaching carreer. Prayers to the family!! You were my hero, coach.

Coach Bellard changed football with his invention of the wishbone. A lot of the great teams of the 70's ran the bone. Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas were among them. God bless the Coach's family and friends during this time of grief.

I met Coach Bellard in 1972 when I was 11 years old when he came to recruit my brother to play for the Aggies.I remember a kind, engaging man, even to a restless 11 year old.Rest in Peace Coach Bellard .
