She was awesome and I loved her movies.

My condolences to your entire family. Your Mother was a beautiful woman. Sharon, I remember when I spent the night at your place in Hyde Park - I did not know your Mother was Eleanor Parker but I sure knew who Eleanor Parker was. When we walked into your kitchen and your Mother was at the sink (back to me) with her leopard silk robe and turned around - I almost fell over. Even in the morning she was gorgeous! She lived a wonderful life and I know you will miss her terribly.
I would love to get in touch with you.

Please accept my sympathy for your loss. May all be comforted by the wonderful promise: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more; neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away."

I was a high school kid working summers at the Powhatan when Eleanor Parker and Raymond Hirsch lived in Apartment 18A. I was awed by her grace and elegance. My sympathies to Day and the family.
