To the family:
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a great singer and I have heard him at the Billy Graham Crusades. God had a BIG plan for him and he did it. Now God has a BIGGER plan for him and we all have to listen to his music. He was a Godly man and family man too.

One of the greatest pillars of Christianity and goodwill. I think of Mr. Shea to have been to Rev. Graham what Barnabas was to the apostle Paul. Along with Cliff Barrows, what a team. I am so grateful to have lived in his era and inspired by his enormous talent I will so miss him.
