You gave so much.
From the first class I took with you, Patsy, my life was forever changed. I call myself a dancer because of you and all that you taught and gave...Full Out!!! It was an honor and a thrill to be a member of your dance company. Because of you, when I did my first Broadway show, not only was I prepared, but I was in top form!!!!! You have given so many people such a gift! You were my favorite teacher of all time! No one has ever cared as much, and given as much! I will never forget! I love you forever!!!! To your family, my deepest sympathy. RIP Patsy. Love, Tracy Shayne
Patsy Swayze brought Beauty, Grace and Passion to any stage. Her work was a joy to behold. I used to watch her concert rehearsals from a wooden bench; the talents she fostered, the students she mentored, the exhilaration of motion and emotion in their most perfect form. It was her special gift. Her children she loved, her family she cherished, her friends she valued. She was a none-such and can not be replaced. We will remember her for all that she was.
I love you Patsy, from the first time I met you rehearsing Gypsy at the Playhouse Theatre to the last time I saw you at Theatre Under The Stars celebration of you. Thank you for your amazing teaching, support, love and caring, which you showed to us all. I'll see you again in Heaven~ Francie Mendenhall

I was never fortunate enough to meet you or the members of your family personally. I feel I know each and every one of you. For some unknown reason, God buried the Swayzes in my heart and brought back the quality my life needed. My love for Patrick changed my life. The Swayzes became a part of my life everyday. I love you all so much, especially our little warrior Danielle who exhibited so much love and respect for you and the family. R.I.P. beloved Patsy. You will remain in my heart forever. May you find eternal happiness with Buddy, Vicky and Patrick.
I was never fortunate enough to meet you or any member of your family, but I feel like I know you all so well. For some unknown reason God buried you all in my heart, putting quality back in my life at a time when I was sinking so low and couldn't seem to pull myself out of the hole. And then the Swayzes came into my life. My love for Patrick literally changed my life. My love for the Swayzes became a part of my everyday life. Danielle, our fighting warrior has exhibited so much love and respect to you and the family. It is so heartwarming. R.I.P. beloved Patsy. May you find eternal happiness with Buddy, Vicky and Patrick. Peace in the reunion with your son. Thank you for all of the beauty you gave to this world.
I first met Patsy at a little league game where her sons and my brothers played. She walked over and introduced herself and asked if I had ever taken dance lessons. I told her I had but after meeting her, I wanted to go back into dancing. I drove over to her studio on Judiway the following Monday and signed up. Her son, Buddy, was in my class. I learned more from her in the years I took from her than all the other 8 combined. My sisters went to Waltrip and each one had a crush on Patrick (Buddy). It seems as if my whole family was in some what connected to the Swayze family.
Thanks for the memories sweet lady.
I took dancing lessons from Patsy, along with many of my friends, at her first studio in Oak Forest. Patsy was my teacher for 10 years, and I have so many happy memories of my classes with her. Because of her I have always loved all forms of dance. She was a
wonderful teacher and a true class act. My family became close to her family during this time and we remember Buddy, Vickie, Little Buddy, and Patsy's sister Kitty very well. May God bless the whole Swayze family during your time of sorrow.

We are so sorry to hear about your mother, please accept our deepest condolences. She was a very rare and exceptional lady. Anyone who is able to attain her longevity, referred to in the scriptures as "special mightiness" (Psalms 90:10), must possess a strength of mind and faith to allow them to deal with all that life throws at you, and do so with wisdom and dignity. We see the truthfulness of the words at: Proverbs 3: 1,2 ' my law do not forget and may your heart observe, because the length of days and years of life and peace be added to you'. Through this time, we hope you will feel the love of family and friends expressed through their support and patience.
