March 22, 2013
My son was a Marine, stationed at Cherry Point, Havelock , NC. First, I'd like to say that our children give up their lives to learn to protect our US. Many make it a life career, while others put in their time and return to their homes. The one thing that a parent, wife, husband, grandma, grandfather, and partners in life, does not want to see and that's the chaplain at their door. To the parents and family and friends of the Marine killed, I would like to say God Bless you and thank you! You are truly a hero to all of us. Your children gave the greatest gift of all, their lives. As the parents and other family members, you can hold tight in your heart the type of soldier you raised! Praise them for all their lives, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
