I got to know him on a recommendation in connection with help for my Chevy in Germany. I met him several times in Colorado as a competent, friendly and sociable man. Moreover, he was born 150 km away from my hometown. He was the reason to visit Colorado at first time, Ill miss him and his knowledge. R.I.P.

Wilf was a good man and will be missed. He was my first boss as an auto tech. I learned a lot from him in the almost 7 years under his employment. I am still using what I have learned from him today. He was always on the move. I would run into him now and then in Longmont and chat. I found out a little to late of his passing and missed his funeral. Peace Wilf.

My condolences to family and friends of Wilf. Wilf gave me my first job as a mechanic in 1970 and after 41 years of repairing Porsches, VWs, Audis, and other European automobiles I moved to the chocolate industry where I still work today. But I got my career start from Wilf and I am greatful. Wilf was a hard worker and it rubbed off on me. Thanks Willie.
