Coming to this very late, but I wanted to say that I was very sad to hear of Bill's passing. I hadn't seen him since our 20th HS reunion (many years ago!), but I remember Bill as one of the nicest guys in the Kane High class of 66.

Dawn & Lars,
We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Bill's passing!!!
We remember Bill during the many McDowell basketball games in which our son Tim played on the team with Lars.
Be assured Dawn that you and Lars and your entire family are in our prayers for God's continued strength and comfort!!! God is faithful and He will be your strong tower at this time!!!

Dawn, I was so sad to hear of Bill's death. I was the freshman basketball coach at Carnegie Mellon in 1966 when Bill began playing for the team as I was finishing my architectural degree. He was a skilled player and a great team player. I went on to become the head coach, so I had the pleasure of coaching Bill during his entire four years. I still remember his pure and accurate jump shot from the base line. What a competitor! Years later, I remember visiting him in the hospital after his transplant and then getting a call from him a couple days later to ask me to bring him some of my clothes. He said that he was being discharged ahead of schedule and I was the only friend he knew in Pittsburgh that was his height. Of course, I took him the clothes. But the best part was that he didn't want to wait for Dawn to pick him up, for he just wanted to get home ASAP. He asked me to drive him to the Greyhound station and even though I told him I'd certainly drive him to Erie he insisted on taking the bus. What an extraordinary person! He will be missed - he already is.
Jim Brown, architect and former CMU basketball coach.

Bill had such a passion about everything in life. He was undoubtably one of my favorite members at Lake Shore. We can all take a page from his book on our journey to a happy and loving life. He was a GREAT man and his family is a great reflection that. God Bless.

Dawn, Lars and family, I remember you talking about Bill and your son when we worked together at Fairview. You had a very good life with Bill. He had a nice long life after that liver operation years back. At this sorrowful time I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. You are not alone in this, Dawn. God Bless You all. Prayerfully, Janet Lunik

On behalf of the Administration, Board of Directors, residents and staff of Brevillier Village, we offer our thoughts and prayers to all of Bill's family and friends. Bill designed our Chapel and Education Center at Brevillier Village. It is a magnificent space overlooking Lake Erie. He captured the essence of peace and spritual reflection. We wish your family that peace and reflection of all the wonderful memories you shared. Vicky Wittuck, Senior Vice President
