To the family of Mr. Tomczak
He was my homeroom teacher at Wilson Jr High from 1970 thru 1972. The status in high school was mostly determined by who is your homeroom teacher. Mr Tomczak was cool, smart and we had a Mr. Wizard as our homeroom teacher how cool was that in those days. He was tough and fair. He demanded the best out of his homeroom. If you were not known first thing asked of you was who is your homeroom teacher. I am so sorry not to have communicated with Mr Tomczak as an adult. He was a scientist who acknowledged the facts. Facts of what we as human beings are made of and our potential no matter where we came from. I shed tears for him not for his soul but for my personal loss and the lesson learned from Mr. Tomczak. Everybody is important and everybody matters.
