The General I believe was my shop teacher for a short time at North East High in the late 60s. He was one of those teachers you could never forget! May God bless his family.

I fondly remember all the laughs my fellow employees and I shared with General Ellis when I worked down the hall from his office at Gannon in the early '80's. He was a great guy. My sincerest sympathy to all of you.

My fondest memories of Great Uncle Ernie are playing the organ at his home, playing with his dogs and meeting his friend Amelia the chicken. He was always tinkering in his basement with his brother George (my grandfather). He was the best Pinoccle player and taught me how to count cards :) On Veteran's Day 2013 I was honored and humbled to visit him at the VA Hospital. Rest easy Uncle Earnie. Love, Sarah (Ward) Cupps and family

I just want to add my admiration and respect for Ernie. His office was next to mine for many of my 17 years at Gannon. Rest in peace. You most certainly deserve it.
