I met Frank while working as an entertainer on the Pride of America in Hawaii. He was a sweet man, and a charmer. He had encouraged me to look up his skill with horseshoes, and today, I found the card I had put aside to remind me to do so. I met him briefly, but he made an impression. I'm glad I got the chance to leave fond remembrance.

He began his sports career as an undersized lineman for East High and helped the Warriors defeat nationally ranked Ashland, Ky. He traded the pigskin for the roundball and had a stellar career with the Erie Admirals and Moose Club. When it was time to retire he grabbed a whistle and became one of the best refs in western P. Coaches wanted ime for teir games because he called a fair game for both sides. In his later years he turned to horseshoes and soon the awards came locally, regionally statewide and nationally.Uncle Frank: you won many victories in this life. Now you have won the greatest win of all: eternal life. Your nephew, Dave White Bear Lake, Mn.
