George was a unique man, you definitely knew where you stood with him. Always fair and with a new story every day. A real professional salesman. I have know George for 30 years when I was a buck salesman. He taught me much and I will miss him at the Maennerchor bar as well at Saints & Sinners functions. Rest in Peace old friend you are in my prayers.

When I met you George for the first time at D-Day Conneaut, you greeted me with a smile so wide and friendly that I just knew right then you were a special human being. Although we never did find the time to take in that ballgame like we always wanted, or to take an hour or so for lunch some afternoon, you gave me your time and conversations about the war.
How fortunate I am to know such a man who faced danger in the dark corners of the jungle... Rare are men like you, who understood the meaning of honor and duty, regardless of situation... We are, and our nation, and the citizens of the free world, will be forever in your debt. Rest now, your mission here is over yet lives on in our hearts. Eric Montgomery, D-Day Conneaut WWII Veteran Liaison

Shirley,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you. God will bless you and comfort you in your loss.
I've had the pleasure of knowing George for over thirty years; at Lakeshore and in business.
Your husband was a kind and caring person; a true gentle person, a gentleman of the purest.
He goes now to join Elmer Brunner for some golf and some much deserved rest and peace.

May God bless you and watch after you.
