Farewell, Cherie. and rest in peace until Jesus comes. George, you will be filled with joy on that day, and so will all of us, her old friends. We grieve now, but someday will smile, and rejoice in eternal life. We remember so well when you first became acquainted with Cherie, and were so pleased to see the love you shared together, each one always looking out for the other. These last years have been long ones, and as you look back you can rest in the thought that "you have done what you could," to make life happy for Cherie.

George, I am so sorry for your loss. I talked to you both in the hall many, many times. You were so faithful in being with Cherie. What a blessing she was to you and her family. I will miss seeing you both.

George, I am the one who talked to you and Cherie in the hall at Golden Living. How faithful you have been in caring for your lovely wife. What a blessing for you, and your famiy, to have such a godly example before you. I will miss seeing you in the halls.
You don't know me, except I would talk to you George, as you so faithfully held your wife's hand, every day! What a blessing you were to her and how much you loved her. I will miss seeing you both in the hall, and Cherie was certainly a wonderful blessing to your family. How fortunate her children were to have such a Godly example in their lives.

Rest in Peace Mother. You are now with your best friend, the Lord and those of the family that preceded you. Give them all a hug for me.
I am sorry I was not able to keep you from dying in a nursing home. I did try! I have missed our daily phone conversations!
As a college student at 64, I see how much you taught me, things kids now days are lacking. You taught me how to solve a problem, how to have passion for life, how to look for the good in people and overlook their failings, how to give your word and keep it.
At 16 I thought you did not know much. At 30 I realized you had become amazingly smarter! It is amazing how that works.
Thank you for raising me. Thank you for teaching me so much. Thank you for being my Mother! I shall miss you!
