Fred & Christie, I'm so sorry about "Daddy Abbs". He was quite a character.I'll always remember a thousand fishing poles that took up the whole apartment and cardboard box end tables. Hope things are going well with you guys. You and your family are in my prayers. God Bless.
Fred was a friend from EYC ... I always enjoyed him, we had lots of laughs ... I am sure you all will miss him ...
Always thoughtful and kind to me, a fellow Rotarian. Rest in Peace.
I am sad to hear of Fred's passing. I remember a lot of good times and all the fishing stories he and Bob had. I think most of them were true! Sorry for your loss.
Rick and Christie, so sorry for your loss. I hope that heaven doesn't have to restock their fish...
Rick and Christie,
I'm sorry for your loss. I never met your Dad, but can see that he graced you both with a part of himself. May your fondest remembrances get you through this time, and find you smiling at the memories.
We loved you very much Uncle Fred. You always had a joke or a funny story to tell and we really looked forward to visiting you in Erie and going on a boat ride on Lake Erie with you or hearing about Erie history on a car tour with you. This world is a sadder place with you no longer in it Uncle Fred.
I knew Mr. Abbott when I worked at the Erie Yacht Club for many years. He was a good man and I am sad to hear of his passing. May God bless you all.
Uncle Fred was like a Dad to me after my own Father died. I have the greatest memories of fishing for Walleye, Chinook and Coho on Lake Erie during my summers growing up. You were a good man.
Christie & Rick,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. You both are in my thoughts. Sincerely...
