I was saddened to learn about our Uncle Georgie. He was a genuine people person. My first recollection of him was when he lived briefly with my parents, George and Pearle Richardson Mangus around 1950. Most lasting memories was riding in thee back of his Willys Overland Sedan with him and his pal and brother "Milt"(We have missed Milt for over 40 years). My bother Carl, cousins Butch and Tink thought we were in heaven riding in the bench seats in that car, We would all get together when we would visit my Grandparents Carl Sr. and Mabel Richardson. He will surely be missed.
I am sorry to hear about your dad. He and Aunt Marty always remembered me, Tink, Annie and Rita at Christmas and were always very good to us. I remember staying at the old homestead in Swissvale on a few occasions and going to Kennywood Park, something we didn't have in good ole Portage. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of grief. God bless all of you.
We were sorry to hear of your loss. We considered him a very good friend. He was so helpful to us, always lending us his canopy for our fourth of July picnics every year and always Johnny on the spot with our plumbing problems, lending his snake and expertise. We will miss him greatly. Don, Marianne, Barbe Jay, Carol and Dan Cornish
