To the Heidt clan. My deepest condolences. Many wonderful memories of time spent with your family. I can credit my scouting career to the many lessons that your father taught and his perseverance in doing the job right. He touched many lives and was a true leader of others. He will live on through all whom he touched. He allowed us to make mistakes then taught us the right way. While I will miss running in to him around town I will remember his wonderful kind spirit.
Peace to all. . .
To Bob's Family,
I worked for Mayer Brothers for many years and fondly remember coming in after Bob and his brother had readied various sites. They were always a pleasure to follow, things were always right. More recently before my own retirement in 2008 we had a job near his home and he was gracious enough to let us use his old yard for a staging site. I knocked on the door, he remembered me, and gave me the key to the gate, no questions asked. He was a very intelligent and gracious man who will be sorely missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful man of integrity. You are so blessed to have had him for your own, as well as you mom. What a super couple they were. Loved the sparkle in their eyes and admired their lovalty to God and family. May your memories always make you smile. God bless you all.
I am sorry for your loss, I remember all of the fun times in boy scouts and have always admired and respected this great man.
so sorry to hear about the death of your Dad. We have been talking a lot about him every time we met and you shared so many great moments and stories about him. Last time we met Bob was at your and Nicole's wedding in Dusseldorf and until just a few weeks ago we planned to travel to Erie together and spend some time with him. It is very sad to know that he is not with us anymore.
Please also pass our most sincere condolences on to your brothers and sisters. Our thoughts are with you in these hard times.

In fond memory of Mr. Heidt - a true gentleman
Bob, was my scout leader in the 1970's and was someone everyone on that side of Millcreek knew was on call if there was a problem. A good family man and community member. Rest in Peace after a well lived life. John, I just lost my mom 2 months ago and know how hard it is. May the peace of knowing your dad is always with you in your heart and that you will see him again some day give you comfort.
My sincere condolences are extended to the family. It was an honor and privilege to have known such a wonderful man. His strength, guidance, kindness and humility were an example to all. He will be greatly missed.

Lots to admire. You can see his work throughout the community, a wonderful gift you kids can be proud of. Set a great example for the idea of an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Modest. True to himself. A good neighbor. And, built the best damn pinewood derby track the county has ever seen. Miss him, and miss you all this week.
I would like to extend my sympathy to Bob`s family. We were friends thru high school and shared working on class reunions over the years. Since I am in Florida I am unable to come to the services, but my thoughts and prayers are with you
Please accept our deepest sympathy. Lynn and the boys have fond memories from the Boy Scouts and Bob's friendship. What a great family you all are.
