I didn't know John. I was in Vietnam with the 101st and 173rd about the same time he was and knew some guys that also were LRRP's. It took a lot of courage to do what they did. My hat is off to you John.

I didn't know John, but I served in Vietnam about the same time with the 101st and the 173rd. I met some LRRP's and know that the job they did took some real courage. My hat is off to you John.

I met John in Vietnam while serving in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was the only trooper I knew from Erie. Later we met in Erie skydiving at Mooreheadville airport in Harborcreek. After graduating from college I returned to the Erie area and heard John was overseas and lost contact. I reguarded John as a "standup guy" doing his own "thing". Sorry to hear about his families loss.

Dear Chris, Jimmie and I were very sad to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful friend, husband and father. Jimmie is going to give you a call this week. Even though we haven't seen you in many years, the memories will live on. Peace and love to you and your family.

John and I were friends at Strong Vincent High School in Erie, PA. I am saddened to hear of his passing and I will always remember him as a really good guy and military veteran.
