I just heard of Linda's passing. I loved visiting her colorful room at Grandview. She was a true professional who touched thousands of lives. The community lost Linda and Dorothy Hamilton, her good friend, in the same month.

Linda and I always kept in touch since I had done her hair back in 1970. This year I sent her a Christmas card and never got one in return for the first time. I picked up the paper and saw her obit and was saddened. We talked about art and her dad grafting on trees. She loved the beautiful spring flowers that came up in the woods. The picture of her in the paper with the unusual flower she had in her home that blossomed once every so many years. (If someone would have this pic please post it) How much I enjoyed her company and would even run into her at the Yankee Peddler festival occasionally. Will miss you Linda Mae, spread your beautiful art over the earth...

Linda was our classmate at SVHS, 1954, but amazing how much we didn't know about her until we read her obituary. She was a very accomplished & wonderful person and will be missed by our classmates. May she rest in peace.

What a shock to learn that Linda is gone. We feel fortunate to have spoken with her by phone just a day or so before she died. That conversation will be the last item to add to the memory file which includes times shared teaching, lunches out with Dorothy, and swapping stories about our pets. Linda was a dear friend who will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
