Patrick Paul Atkins, age 21, of Lake City, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at UPMC Hamot. Born February 12, 1991, in Erie, he was the son of Patrick J. and Sylynda Robinson Atkins. Patrick attended Girard High School and had been employed with his father in shipping and receiving at Erie Auto Interior. He enjoyed video games, music, and sports and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Patrick was preceded in death by his great grandmothers Therese Nolan and Marie Gorney. In addition to his parents, Patrick and Sylynda Atkins of Lake City; he is survived by two sisters: Olivia Atkins of Erie and Kimberly Atkins of Lake City; his paternal grandmother Gail Engert of Fairview, maternal grandmother Cathy Nolan of Erie, maternal grandfather Paul Robinson of Ky., a niece Izabella Atkins of Erie, as well as several aunts and uncles. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in Burton's All Faiths Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at www.Burtonfuneralhome.com.
