March 05, 2014
I am so sorry for your loss. I work at 2/90 Sign Systems and have communicated with Rick for several years. He was always such a pleasure to speak with and was always in a great mood. Please know your family is in my thoughts.

Diane, Ryan and Mandi,
So sorry to hear about Rick. First time I was formally introduced to him (when he and Ryan came to pick up Kate) I told him I recognized him from the Liberty football games. He told me not to hold that against Ryan - he's a good kid. My sympathy to all of you. You are in my prayers.

Diane - Angela and I were deeply saddened to learn of Rick's passing; we so enjoyed being with you and him at our USMA Reunion just a few short months ago. For those of us who shared the experience of being F-1 company mates in the Class of 1973, there is no other word to describe the relationship other than as brothers. I'll miss my brother Rick.

I knew cousin Rick since we were young. He and I shared the Army experience and he was one of the few who took me out for a meal when I returned from Iraq in 2004. I also had the chance to meet his classmate from West Point, Gen. Abazaid, while in Baghdad.

I will miss Rick and offer my sincerest sympathy to Aunt Ellen and the other Browns.

Dear Diane and family, Rick was one of a kind good, kind, and rich with his smile. He always was happy and had a catchy smile. So saddened by this tragedy God be with u and your family at this most difficult time.

To the Brown Family:
Rick's love of family and life are the dominant themes we see reading the many messages. I was a company mate of Rick's at West Point. As Ryan can attest, those were challenging times, mentally and physically. Through it all Rick provided a great measure of comic relief that helped me get through some particularly rough times. I will be forever greatful that I had the chance to know Rick and got to call him my friend.

I heard from Rose that Rick passed. I am so sad for your loss. I know he was a very caring man and I enjoyed running into him when I worked in the Poconos.
My deepest sympathies,
