I worked at Easton Hospital with Hazel.
Hazel "was" 3NRE. To be a good nurse you need knowledge plus warmth and compassion for others. She had it all. My parents (Mary and Howard Bond) lived in Gateway Terrace Apartments. They were fortunate enough to meet and become good friends with Hazel. I was so pleased that they met. During my Fathers illness Hazel coached and counseled my Mom through the whole thing. After he passed, Mom moved. They stayed in contact with each other. Then Hazel moved. Again they both stayed in contact with each other. She was a super great friend to my Mother.
My sympathy goes out to all of her family. Thanks for shareing this wonderful woman with us.
