John Carthage Joseph Walsh

Sad to see he passed. I knew John and Betty when I lived on their block a couple years back. They were so kind and quite a couple! I'll never forget them, for they were generous and caring! My coworkers and I from down the grocery store down the road definitely miss his stories and presence, just like Dan mentioned. My condolences to his family!

There will never be another one like him - a true original and a great ol' Mick. It was my great pleasure to know him. What a great life, he's earned his place in heaven alongside Betty. I know my Mom and Pop will be happy to see him.

Its been a week now since my Father left us to join my Mom. I often, during the days since, reflect on how he had an openness and charm when interacting with strangers. He honestly enjoyed living and being with people. Conversing, storytelling just shooting the breeze with people.
Dad was a great man who lived a full long life. I miss him now and will, always.
