HAROLD A. KNAPP, SR., 69, of Williams Twp. died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his residence. He is the husband of Dorothy L. (Seip) Knapp Born: Born in Philadelphia on October 20, 1944 to the late Harold E. and Elizabeth M. (Leibig) Knapp. Personal: He served our country faithfully in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Memberships: Harold worked for Ashland Chemical for 20 years until retiring, and prior employment at the former Lehigh Foundry. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 48 years on November 6th; children: Jane M. (David C.) Patriarca of Lower Saucon Twp., Harold A. (Denise) Knapp, Jr. of Whitehall; sisters: Mary J. (Robert) Ursu of Racine, WI, Alberta M. Hendricks of AZ; granddaughter: Megan A. Patriarca; sister-in-law: Cathy Knapp of DE. Predeceased by a brother Richard C. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 3-4 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street Hellertown followed by the service at 4 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at: www.heintzelmancares.com. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of one's choosing.
