I shall miss John. We had many common interests and memberships. The obituary does not mention that he was a delegate to the Northampton County Federation of Sportsmens Clubs, representing Blue Mountain Rod & Gun Club of Bangor and Easton Fish & Game Association. He served as President of the Northampton County Federation for many years. I followed John's path as the replacement delegate from Blue Mountain. We were both members of the Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club of Easton and the Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms Society. We were classmates at Easton High School, call of 1960, sharing the same home room. From 1967 to 1971, we were neighbors on the same street. We both loved to hunt, shoot, and camp. We were both very active in the National Rifle Association. He was very active in the annual large White Tail Classic hunters banquet in Northampton, PA sponsored by the Sportsmens Federation, where they raised many thousands of dollars to support sportsmen and conservation. God rest his soul. He suffered from very ill health for the last few years, yet he continued to work for these organizations and enjoy his hobbies. He deserves to be honored for all of his public service.
