Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We both worked with Joe at J.T. Baker. The highest compliment that can be given is to say he was a genuinely nice man.

Bob, Patty and the Merlo Family. I feel fortunate to have known your father since Little League baseball in Lopatcong to our last conversation at the Best Golf Tourney in 2017. I always enjoyed spending time with him and talking about his family and growing up in P'burg. He was so proud of where he came from and the family he helped raise. Joe has left a positive impact on all of us. Our condolences to you in this time of loss.

Joe and Jane were my parents' best friends for as long as I can remember. There was never a time when I don't remember them being part of our extended family. Joe was a dear, kind man. He was a wonderful friend to our family, a loving husband, father and grandfather. I would like to extend my love and deepest sympathy to Mary Beth and Doug, Bobby and Patty and their families, as well as the entire Merlo family. We will never forget him and know that he will be dearly missed.

Mary Beth our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I would see your dad frequently when he would come in to where I work. It was always a pleasure seeing him.
