I had the pleasure of meeting such a amazing women while attending liberty high school through a program called "Illick's Mill Project". She was a true inspiration to me and I know many. I ran into several times in the years since high school and she never forgot who I was. Linny you truly define the meaning of a heaven sent angel. Your compassion, love and never ending love for your community always shined through. May you rest in peace and stay always in our hearts.

Dear Dr. Fowler, Wyman and your brother and sister. I just wanted to express my condolences on Linny's death. My mother and father told me of the funeral and of seeing Wyman there. I could not attend, but want you to know I was thinking of you, and I'm sorry Linny has passed away so soon. Please give my regards to your family.
Sincerely,
Chris Fisher

Dear Beall and Family,

We were so saddened to learn of Linny's passing. So many memories of our early years in Bethlehem came rushing back - cub scouts, Charlie and Beall coaching a Little League team together, tennis matches with Linny. What a wonderful legacy Linny has left. Our thoughts are with you.

A pillar of the community is gone but her legacy lives on through her countless acts of kindness. She will surely be missed by many who loved and adored her. Our deepest sympathy to Beall, who lovingly supported Linny's passions.

Our Harrington Park elementary school graduating class of 1953, which included Marlene, was such a small one of only 20 students, that this loss is much like the loss of a loved family member. There are many fond memories that I have of Linny but two of my most special is when she invited me, along with other members of the class , to attend her Cotillion dance, in Hackensack, and when I flew my plane into the Allentown airport shortly after our 30th HS reunion and she made the drive over from Bethlehem so that we could have lunch together. She was a very special person in so many lives and she certainly will be missed.

Dear Beall,
I am so sorry for your loss. I saw Linny last at our 30th year Dumont reunion, but we were in occasional email contact. Still, there's something inexpressibly sad that she is the first of our Harrington Park "girls" to leave us. She was clearly a very special person.

Juan, Susan Orta and Community,
We send our sincere condolences to all of you in Allentown and the community that Ms. Fowler was such a generous benefactor to. As treasurer of the A.T.U. Intenational Latino Caucus I and our organization are very grateful for Ms. Fowler's support over the years. We felt her presence especially at the conferences that were hosted at Allentown, Pennsylvania.
With sympathy and prayers,

I have special memory of Linny from the beautiful self portrait she did in glass, photography and a real string of beads. I will never forget her.
