Russell E. Willever
STEWARTSVILLE
Russell E. Willever, 85, of Stewartsville passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, in Mosser Nursing Home in Trexlertown, PA.
Born Oct. 6, 1933, in Stewartsville, he was the son of the late Hazel Gischel Willever.
He and his wife, the former Doris Reichard, were married July 12, 1958.
He was a forklift operator with Dixie Cup in Wilson Borough before his retirement. Prior to that he was a machinist with Ingersol Rand and Riegel Paper Co. He served in the United States Navy for 14 years.
Russ was an avid fan of Phillipsburg High School sports and a band booster.
He was a former member of First Lutheran Church of Stewartsville; past Commander of the VFW; former member of the American Legion in Stewartsville; and a life member of Greenwich Township Emergency Squad.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Donna Field (David) of Galloway, NJ, and Lisa Worman (Roger) of Wescosville, PA; three brothers, Barry of Easton, Ron (Gayla) of Lopatcong Township, and Terry (Joanie) of Easton; a sister, Joan Bellfy of Lopatcong Township; two grandchildren, Amanda Fatzinger (Kyle) and Karryssa Schmidt (Libener), and a great-grandson, Alden Kyle Fatzinger.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave., Phillipsburg, NJ.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to time of services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township. Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.devlinfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Greenwich Township Emergency Squad, 515 N. Main Street, Stewartsville, NJ 08886.
