Sharon Ilene Heller
BELVIDERE, NJ
Born July 14, 1946, Sharon entered heaven on Jan. 8, 2019, after losing a well fought battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Willard and Beryl Dux of Belvidere.
Sharon is survived by her adoring daughters, Tammy Dux, Dawn Daubert and Kristin Heller, her grandchildren, Jacob and Makayla Daubert, Skylar Dello, her beloved cousin, Sandy Woodbridge, devoted friend, Sue Ott, and her companion, David Gulick.
Sharon began her working life as editor-in-chief of the Belvidere News, insurance sales person and Town Council Woman. She achieved her Master's Degree in Psychology at the age of 62 and taught at the Warren County Community College. She held her family and friends dear to her heart and enjoyed antique hunting, gardening and dining out with her companion. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her intellect and her love of life. She never gave up and even at the end of her life she maintained her outlook, "Life's good."
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Summerfield Cemetery in White Township, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations for her final expenses may be made to www.gofundme.com/sharon039s-battle-with-cancer.
