Winnie's smile says it all. She was a joy in my life and I feel privileged to have known her these many years. Her life truly made a difference to many, many people as she cheerfully visited and helped those in special need. God's peace to her family who have been blessed by her example and love.

Dead Marianne. Jim and families,
I was heartbroken to hear of your Mom's passing. She was one of the strongest women I have ever known. She had her way of convincing you your help was important to her vets. She put her heart and soul into everything she did and did everything well.
Her family was her life. When her great grandchildren were born, Winnie would glow speaking about them. I never saw her smile so much.
I loved your Mom and will miss her visits. My only regret is that I could not get around this winter to visit her, but I thought of her alot.
God has taken home a great person. I just hope she can relax and enjoy her retirement. God bless you, Winnie.
Love, JoAnn

Dear Marianne and Family,
I was saddened to read of Winnie's death in today's paper. In fact, I had intentions of calling Winnie after reading the paper. Didn't like to call too early. As you know, Winnie and I spent many an hour going to the Veteran Center and talking to and helping the Vets. In fact Winnie told them I was moving to Florida several told her: "You can't let the cookie lady leave". They so enjoyed the cookies and the visit. In November I went to the Center and visited with Henry Paste, who asked me to pass along his concerns for Winner.
She will be missed, as no one I know can do or know as much about the Auxiliary as Winnie. She was a moving force and always managed to get everything done.
I will miss my friend and pray for the repose of her soul. May God Bless Winnie's family and help you through these trying days. I know for Winnie the Manor would never be home. So, now she is home and at peace.
My prayers are with all of you.
God Bless all of you.
