I still love him to this day. What an inspiration! May you jump over the pearly gates as you enter God's Kingdom! We will miss you sir. December 1, 2007 As a child I was so in awe of Evel that I had my Mother sew an Evel Knievel outfit for me. I rode my bicycle with reckless abandon over tiny wooden jump ramps pretending to be Evel Knievel.
Evel changed our lives. He became a part of American history. He became a part of our lives & families.
God bless you Evel Knievel on your final jump. Godspeed and thank you for the memories. You were truly a Superhero to many, many children like myself.
