SPRING GROVE Margaret "Peggy" Ann (Miller) Brillhart, 60, passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of David R. Brillhart for 39 years. Born January 31, 1953, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Phyllis Y. (Bair) Miller of Hanover and the late Richard Miller. Peggy was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School, class of 1970. She continued her education at St. Joseph School of Nursing, graduating in 1973 with a degree in nursing. She was then employed as a registered nurse with Hanover General Hospital working in various departments including the emergency room, pediatrics, the operating room, and the Surgi-Center at Hillside. Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed going to and having her own yard sales and tending to her flower garden. She was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary. She also frequently visited Venice, Fla., where she spent lots of time hunting for and collecting shark's teeth. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Peggy especially loved the family vacation they took together in Myrtle Beach, S.C. In addition to her husband and mother, Peggy is survived by two daughters, Nichole Fowler and her husband, Christopher of Hanover, and their children, Kaylin Elizabeth and Kohen Everett, and Kathryn Grace Hall and her husband, Anthony of York and their son, Jordan David; and one sister, Bonnie M. Waters of Millsboro, Del. A memorial service celebrating the life of Peggy Brillhart will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with Chaplain Katrina Vigen officiating. A time to express condolences and to share memories with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Peggy's memory to Susan G.
