Stan Converse Obituary
Stan was born in Monrovia, Calif., on Oct. 30, 1952, the son of the late Stanley H. and Doris June Boulio Converse.
An avid outdoorsman, Stan loved to hunt and was a very skilled fly fisherman.
He is survived by his sisters, Catherine (Donald) Osberg of Upland, Calif., and Carolyn (Larry) Baker, with whom he made his home, of Lindley, N.Y.; his brothers, Victor (Theresa) Converse of Hornell, N.Y., and Nathan (Kimberly) Converse of Troupsburg, N.Y;, his aunt, Ida Ruth Bauer of Canandaigua, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday (April 29, 2014) from 1-3 p.m. at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, N.Y. Stan's funeral services will follow there at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, N.Y.
