Mr. Banker was my principal for many years at AACS. He was quiet, kind and loyal to his teachers. Lunch with him was a delightful respite in the busy day. We were blessed to have his guiding vision in our school. He has gone to his well deserved rewards.

Good-bye to a well-respected man. He helped make the Alfred-Almond elementary school feel like a safe place.

I have very nice memories of "Mr." Banker and Maxine. Could never call him Stan even when I became an adult. I remember the time he accompanied we "Snyder Sisters" when we sang at the Canisteo UM Church. He was always very kind.

Stan and Maxine were beloved friends of mine..and are now joyfully reunited in Heaven!
I met Maxine in the Summer of '42 when we moved to Canisteo from the New York City area, and registered for school. She was then a lovely young lady of 25!
I met Stan in the Fall of '51 when he first came to Canisteo..he was my 7th grade History teacher..then 31 years young!
I will miss them both, but rejoice that they are reunited in Life Eternal.
