Mr. J.D. Elkins Sr., 73, of Bartlesville, died at 12:50 P.M. on Friday, July 11, 2014 following a motor vehicle accident.
Private services will be held.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Bell and Saundra Quattlebaum, grandchildren, J.D. Ellkins III, Raina Etheridge, Tasha Williams and Waylon Snyder, great grandchildren, Jason, Tucker and Kenzie, three brothers, Pete Elkins, Billie Elkins and Rusty Mathis and a sister, Sendie Margaryan . He was preceded in death by his wife & companion, Rosalee Elkins, a son, J.D. Elkins Jr., and a sister, Shirley Jo Bridges.

Uncle JD im so sad that I didn't even get to say goodbye to you. I love you and miss you so badly right now. I really wanted you to see your niece that will be here on November. Just about every memory I have when I was young you are in it. You have always been a man that cares more about his family then himself. I Love you so much uncle jd. If it were not for you I would of never learned how to do a hand stand. I would of never graduated high school, and I would of never know how many animals fit in a pair of panty hose. :) I hope aunt Shirley is taking care of u up there. Forever missed, never forgotten.
