Although I am only 59 years old, I still remember the stories my dad told about Artie. We were season ticket holders of the BALTIMORE Colts from 1963 until that fateful day of the Mayflower invasion. I always thoroughly enjoyed the banter and stories that Artie regaled us with when on the Baltimore TV stations, especially with Tom Davis. I never got tired of his stories. He was truly an awesome man first and football player second. It is ironic that he should pass at the time for the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. May the family and friends find comfort in knowing that Artie is now back on the gridiron and regaling God with his stories. He is now at peace with His maker. RIP Artie and God bless all BALTIMORE Colts fans everywhere!!! Ron Malehorn

My wife worked for Haas Tailoring, where Artie had some of his suits made. I also had the good fortune of meeting him. A gentleman always. A delightful man, who will be sorely missed! God Bless you Artie, and God Bless the Donovan family.
