I had the pleasure of meeting Jay King a couple of years ago (from the local band Innuendo)& I was so excited to know he was Claude King's son. Brought back alot of good memories of my mom & dad's 45 rpm record that was played over and over at my house. I am so sorry Jay & the rest of the family. Claude King had a long, wonderful life with you & it will be hard for his presence to be gone. His music will live on all over the world though. He will never be forgotten. RIP Mr. King.

My condolences to the King family at the passing of Mr. King. I take my walks by his house and many times I wanted to stop in and meet him in person. When I built my house I was going to get Tillman Franks to ask Mr. King to come down and the three of us break in my house with some old-fashioned jamming.

Mr. King, thanks for all your wonderful music and your military service to our great nation.

Jay,I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. The last time I saw him was at Kroger's..I talked to him for a little about you. He had a good laugh..You know me and the stories I can tell.We have known each other most of our lives. I know he is singing in heaven with all his old friends. Love you...
