We are Americans

You thought we’d lose our faith in God,
but our faith has become stronger.

You thought you’d frighten us,
but surprisingly, we are not scared.

You thought you’d weaken our economy,
but our economy is still strong.

You thought you’d bring us to our knees,
but we are still standing tall.

You thought we’d abandon our family and friends,
but our relationships have only grown stronger.

You thought we’d turn our backs to those in need,
but we’ve never wanted to help more.

You thought we’d hate being Americans,
but you’re wrong….

We are proud to be Americans….
Proud to stand as One.

In memory of the innocent people who were injured or lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

How sad it took such a tragedy to bring everyone together. It's as if we've all been abused and turns to each other for comfort. My prayers and thoughts are with each and every one of you. May you gather strength in knowing God has embraced your loved ones.

From me, my husband, Iordanis & son, Haris, we now live in Pireaus Greece, know that our prayers are with God knowing that His plan maynot be what WE think our plan is, however, trust him in showing us the way with love, understanding and closeness of being a nation that is proud...God bless the souls who gave their lives to a bigger cause than we will ever comprehend.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy. I was deeply saddened about the terrorist attacks on our wonderful country. Everyday that I get up in the Morning from a hard night of sleep, I wish this was a nightmare. But everytime I turn on the television reality steps back in. I hope our nation can heal. I can't imagine what the thousands of people are going through awaiting their love one's to return all I can do is pray for the strength of the people and the souls of the deceased.

My heart goes out to all the people who are suffering due to this horrible tragedy. There hasn't been one single night that I could fall asleep without crying and praying for everyone whose loved ones left that terrible morning and never made it back home. I thank GOD for the fact that I can hold my children and tell them I love them and hear them say the love me too! I know thousands of people out there will never hear those words again from their mothers, fathers, children, brothers, siters, etc. So, I hope that everyone who is safe remembers to tell your family how much you love them because we never know when it might be our last chance to to do so.

My thoughts and prayers will always be with the families of those lost in Tuesday's tragedy. I don't think that I'm alone when I say that I will NEVER be the same again!!

May God bless all the innocent victims of this tragedy, and may their souls rest in peace.

May God hold America in His hand, so that it will remain a nation built on Faith, Truth and Love.

There are no words that can express the deep sorrow that we feel; and the loss can never be counted, so great is the toll. But we can pray for guidance and strength, we can remember our loved ones, and we can learn to be be better, do better, dream better. God bless our people and our great country.

As our nation mourns the loss of precious lives, may the Grace of God comfort each heart and fill us with peace.
God Bless America!!!
