DAYTON Joanne (Davis) Severino, age 61 of Dayton, passed away Sunday April 28, 2013. She was born May 7, 1951 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Engle) Davis. Joanne was employed with various program offices at Wright-Patterson AFB for over 25 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ralph Adkins. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Peter; two children, Deandra (Brian) Simpson of Beavercreek, Paul (Elizabeth) Clifton of Xenia; five grandchildren, Rachel, Corey, Alicia, Caleb, Jacob; two step-sons, Peter, Jr. (Carmen) Severino of California, Philip (Christie) Severino of North Carolina; a step-grandson, Brett; a brother, Jeff Davis of Oklahoma; four sisters, Barbara Neil of Florida, Kate Richards of Florida, Karen (Scott) Hall of Lewisburg, Darlene Waggoner of Streetsboro, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday May 6, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 7, 2013 at 10:00 A.M., Rev. Sheila Slone officiating. Interment will follow in the Byron Cemetery. I'm so very sorry about Joanne. I worked with her at WPAFB after she left, I kept getting updates on her from my friend, Erv (your neighbor). My prayers are with you all.

I am still in shock over this. Joanne was such a great woman, friend, co-worker, mother, wife, aunt, so many things to so many people. Joanne thank you for always being such a wonderful friend to me, I will never forget the good times that we had in C17. You are the best! We will miss you more than you will ever know. RIP my dear friend. I love ya,
