Wesster was a greate show and my father would miss it. The kindness came through when you watch it, we need more good people like Mr Karras in the world.

So very sad RIP! I had just read that he was in very bad shape,,,,so sorry! Thank you for all the memories when I was growing up! Just good ole TV back then.

I will miss him so much. No one my age will ever forget Mongo!!! Mongo will always ROCK!
My condolences to Ms. Clark and all of his friends and family. How precious it is to have family with you when the time comes. He is free from his injuries and dimensia. God Bless.

He certainly will be missed: a tremendous athlete and followed with a short but terrific film career. Who can forget 'Mongo'?

Dear Susan and Karras Family:

My condolences to you all on the loss of Alex. While I never had the honor and privilege of meeting him, It was on my bucket list. Alex was one of the few athletes who went on to a greater career after his playing days ended. He made another name for himself in broadcasting and acting and when you saw him on the screen, you always snapped to attention. He could deliver not only comedy, but some of the most poignant moments.

From his days as an Iowa Hawkeye to those with the Detroit Lions, He played the game with a ferocity that few have.

And he enjoyed a long and loving marriage to Susan. We should all be so fortunate.

He left us with so many memorable moments that we can all cherish and recall. We are so much better for his having been with us.

My his memories embrace you for the rest of your lives.
