Curtis A. LaPrade, 72, of Roanoke, died on Monday, March 11, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rossie LaPrade; sisters, Doris Marie West and Joyce Hale; and a brother, Bobby Leon LaPrade. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo LaPrade; children, Donna Eddy and husband, John, Andrea Bailey, and Darryl LaPrade and wife, Myra; brother, Robert Cecil LaPrade; grandchildren, Michael Dwayne Bailey, Ginny Lynn Bailey, Holly BreAnne Bailey, Shana Marie Bernard, Jordan Nicole Eddy, Nathanial Christian LaPrade, Isabelle Nicole LaPrade; great- grandchildren, Ellie Grace Bernard, Bentlee Nicole Palmer, and Bryson Lee Wendell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Oakey's South Chapel with Mr. Brandon Bernard officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel.
