JANESVILLE - Dorothy F. Foote, age 80, of Janesville, IL passed away at 7:30 pm on January 28, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 on Wednesday February 1, 2012 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to service time on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery.
Dorothy was born in Patton, Missouri on March 11, 1931 the daughter of John & Ida (Clay) Reed. She married Richard E. Foote Sr. on July 8, 1950 and he preceded her on March 28, 2005.
Surviving are her three children Phyllis husband Michael Easter of Charleston, IL, Sandra husband William Owen of Lyons, IN and Richard wife Michelle Foote of Greenup, IL; grandchildren Jason Easter of Charleston, IL, Justin Easter and fiancé Sarah Estes of Charleston, IL and Miranda Owen of Newburg, IN. and three cousins.
Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed flea markets and going to auctions, for many years she and her husband were antique dealers.
