IN EARLY YEARS, MY MOM AND ED'S MOM, DOROTHY WERE FRIENDS. THEN LATER ON IN MY LIFE, I WORKED WITH ED AT A.S.L. IN TROY FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS. HE WAS A MAN WHO MEANT WHAT HE SAID! NO BEATING AROUND THE BUSH! WHEN HE OWNED THE TROY SPORT SHOP, I COULD COUNT ON HIM TO HAVE JUST ENOUGH BAIT FOR ME TO GO FISHING (ALTHOUGH HE SAID HE NEVER GUARANTEED A CATCH) HE WAS A FINE UPSTANDING MAN. HE AND MY SON LARRY WERE QUITE GOOD FRIENDS AND ED WAS ALSO LARRY'S LANDLORD FOR A TIME. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY MANY! I AM PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN HIM. MY SYMPATHIES TO THE ENTIRE FAMILY.
