They'll Always Have France
Elizabeth and Stephen Alderman will always treasure the priceless September week they spent with their sons Peter and Jeffrey, and their daughter, Jane, in a rented house in Roussillon, France. But Peter Craig Alderman had to fly back on Saturday, Sept. 8, in time to prepare for a conference in Windows on the World, which he attended for Bloomberg L.P., where he worked in financial services.

When his parents learned that Peter Alderman, 25, was missing after the terrorist attack, they tried to return; no flights were available. So Michael R. Bloomberg sent his personal jet to fly them back. The Aldermans know that their son was trapped on the 106th floor; Jane got an email message from him at 9:35 a.m. He said that there was a lot of smoke, and that people were afraid. "We knew there was no hope for him," said Mrs. Alderman.

And so, on Wednesday, in their home in Armonk, N.Y., they threw a party: Champagne, kegs of beer and tons of food, "a celebration of his life, by his friends," said Mr. Alderman. Over 100 came from as far away as Portland, Ore.; Mr. Bloomberg was there as well. "We ate, drank and laughed," Mr. Alderman said, "and we told stories."

Not sure what to say?

Even though I never met the man whose life was senselessly taken from us, I feel as if I have gotten to know him in the passing years
For those that dont know I rode with Peters name on my vest in the greatest gathering of motorcycles ever gathered. Almost one and a half million, to honor the fallen on 9-11. I for will never forget. God bless America and God bless 0eter.

Remembering Peter on the 20th anniversary of 9/11....

Forever remembered as a proud family who I share the same name and descendent of Cyrus Alderman. Always proud of lives well lived and raise my glass to all of you.
Tricia Alderman, 64, Lyons Kansas farmer for 3 generations.

Be at peace wherever you are.

Nunca te olvidaremos, víctima inocente de una de las peores tragedias de la historia. Todos sabemos que hubieras llegado lejos por tu responsabilidad en el trabajo después de estar de vacaciones con tu familia.

I've never been able to forget that day, the shock and horror with the juxtaposition of a beautiful late summer morning... R.I.P Peter, you will never be forgotten. Daniel (Philadelphia)

God bless you Peter and all the others who died senselessly that calm September morning. May your families find peace and the world heal from this atrocity. RIP always.......
