Clark, Roger L. Grandville, MI Roger Leighton Clark, age 89, born on June 19, 1931, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was preceded in death in 2009 by his wife of 58 years, Nancy; his parents, Lloyd and Esther Clark; brother, Gordon; and twin great grandchildren, Megan and Brady. Roger is survived by his sons, Steven (Sue Ellen), Douglas (Michelle); granddaughters, Stephanie, Betsy (Jay) Heasley, Terri (Warren) Prostko; great grandsons, Hudson, Landon, Logan; great granddaughter, Rory Sue; brother, Roland of Willoughby, Ohio; and three nephews. Roger served in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge he returned to the Grand Rapids area, graduated from Davenport University, and pursued a career in Accounting. He retired from Meijer Credit Union in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with family, boating, golfing, travelling, cruises, and singing in church choirs. Due to the pandemic, private services were held at Grandville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Carlisle United Methodist Church, 1084 76th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, or Kindred Hospice, 625 Kenmoor Ave, #115, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

Roger was a good neighbor and a sweet man. It was always a pleasure to talk to him while he was out for a bike ride in the condos. He listened to you. He will definitely be missed!

Grandpa Clark always had a smile on his face and always loved to talk about sports, life and loved his family very much. Heaven gained an amazing person. He is now with Grandma and his Great Grandchildren Meagan & Brady. RIP Grandpa! Love you!

I had the honor and privilege of having Roger work for me part time during his retirement years, I just wish I knew him before that as Roger was a true class gentleman . Heaven gained a true angle and glad your with your Nancy
