Dear Abby's family,
May she rest in peace. I have enjoyed her column for years. May you find peace that she is with her sister and family and friends gone bye.
'Dear Abby',Thank-you for your advice,& words of wisdom you shared with so many for so long.As a teen-ager I looked forward to your column;& eagerly as an adult I appreciated your work.Heaven has welcomed the other beautiful twin for a never-ending joyous celebration! May God be with your families during this difficult time.
RIP the world is a better place because you passed through it. Mose W. Morton
My condolences to Dear Abby's family. I enjoyed her columns over the years.
Abby you'll always be in our thoughts.
Jeanne and family, I am sorry for your loss. In the 1960s, my mother and your mother had weekly hair appts in St. Paul at "Horst of Austria". My mother would report craning her neck under the dryer to see the letters on the lap of the hard-working "Dear Abby" whose hair was drying under the next dryer over! Your mother made a difference, didn't she!
Abigail Van Buren or Dear Abby was a force for some standardization of culture and work habits. I admit that I read her columns, and some times followed her dictums. She was a decent person, who will be missed!
