john steffek, green bay. I was a sp inspector in d3, I knew elmer from the visits I had to the hq office.great, friendly guy, my sympathy to the family. I retired 21 years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Elmer at State Patrol District three.

Elmer was a friend and was always there to assist anyone who needed it.

I have thought of him often since I departed D3.

He will be missed.

my sympathy to all the family. I worked with Elmer many years out of D3, he was a pleasure to work with. I know he will be missed by many.

I only worked with Elmer for a short time while at the State Patrol, but he definitely was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. He would make the troopers/inspectors clap their hands when they walked into "his" supply room to make sure they weren't taking something they shouldn't. Haaaa
