to the Alwyns family, I am very sorry to hear about your dad, I have a lot of memories. Jerry, do you remember all of the trips we made to Milwaukee and how about that time we had to eat all of the candy bars because the machine at the stock yard malfunctioned and we empty the machine on a single dime. Your dad tried to give them back but the guy in the office said that it was about time somebody got even with it. I just lost my mother on Jan. 17th may they all rest in peace.
My condolences to Jerry and the rest of the family.
The Schommers (John, Dorothy, and Elwyn and his family) lived down the street from us as I was growing up.
Elwyn played a major role in the life of St.Paul's church in Calumet before he and his family left it. I remember him as part of that church and of Calumetville. I have fond memories of Elwyn and Jan.
Jerry so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I sure have memories of him in the cattle truck.May he rest in peace.
I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss.
Your family was greatly blessed to have such a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. What a rejoicing when your Mother seen him coming.
Dear Jay and family--I'm so sorry to read of the passing of your dad, and so very close to the passing of my dad. May God comfort you during your time of grief. I know your dad is rejoicing with your mom and Jesus in Heaven. I hope knowing that and all of your wonderful memories will help to soothe your aching heart. My deepest sympathies to all of you! Most sincerely,
