My Kindergarten teacher! God used this fine woman to train up so many, many children in the fear of the Lord. She was a great blessing to those young hearts, one of which was mine. I remember her telling our class over and over again to not lean back on our little wooden chairs or we would surely fall over and be hurt. Well, one day I did lean back on my chair and, sure enough, hit my head on the bookshelf behind me. She let me sit on her lap while I cried. Honestly, I was more embarrassed that I had disobeyed dear Mrs. Waldschmidt than I was that my noggin hurt. God hold your hearts as you mourn your loss but yet rejoice in her salvation!
