Sister will always be Sister Joan of Arc to me. She taught me piano lessons at St. Charles School in Cassville Wisconsin in the 1950's. I was in second to eighth grade and will always remember her smile and her positive encouragement. She was an inspiration to me. Shirley Zimmer, Montfort, WI.

My condolences to Sister Jeanette's family. She and I have been corresponding at Christmas since 2000. Before that time I did not know her, but she was a classmate of my younger sister, Maureen Weber (Nirschl) at St. Matthew's School. I happened to meet her at St. Joseph Convent when I visited there and after exchanging the family connection, we became Christmas "pen pals." I always enjoyed her newsy holiday letters. This year I received her letter with the bad news on Dec. 2. I was able to respond to her before she passed away. I will miss hearing from her. R.I.P.
