Way, Robert Sr.
Robert T. Way, Sr., of Campbellsport passed away at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac Tuesday June 18, 2013 at the age of 87. Robert was born on March 4, 1926 in Newburgh, NY to George and Caroline Way. He was the tenth of eleven children.
Robert served his country with two tours of duty in the Army at the end of World War II and also during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded numerous medals including two Purple Hearts of which he never talked about.
Bob was united in marriage to his "blind date" Doris Galligan on Nov. 3, 1951 at Dundee's Trinity Lutheran Church by Rev. Harvey Kahrs. Bob farmed, drove milk truck and worked 35 years at the West Bend Company retiring in 1988. He enjoyed camping, gardening, fishing and in his early years hunting.
Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years Doris, three sons and two daughters Henry (Anna) Way, Phyllis (Ron) Kaehne, Howard (Anh "Mi Mi") Way, Robert (Debbie) Way, Jr. and Peggy (Roy) Demge, his grandchildren Christopher (Sofia) Way, Craig (Heather) Way, Melissa (Ray) Robinson, Kyle (Michelle) Kaehne, David (Andrea) Cibulka, Jenny Molina, Tom Demge, and Jasmine Demge, his great grandchildren Courtni, Rhaiyana, AnaSofia, Danilyn, Kaylee, Gabbie, Alex, Ray, Ruger, and a Blessing on the Way. Robert is also survived by his brother Harry Way, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ruth Long, James and Jackie Galligan, Joanne Galligan and Melvin and Genny Stoffel, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his nine brothers and sisters and their spouses and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald and Virginia Galligan, Mabel and Herb Wehner, Levi and Donna Galligan, Orville and Patsy Galligan, Edward Galligan, Roy Galligan, and Leo Long.
Visitation will be Friday June 21st from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport followed by funeral services at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be Saturday June 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.

We are sorry for your loss. Bob would always bring us green peppers from his black garden tubs he had all over the back yard! He always took good care of his "garden" and loved to peak over the fence and "suggest" how we should plant ours. :) We will miss his help this garden season.
