Sister Virginia was a remarkable human being. Her teachings in and out of the classroom at St. Bernard's have had a positive influence on many young individuals including me. She will be missed dearly.
I was always happy to be in her class. She was kind and gentle, I will never forget that in her.
She was a wonderful teacher, kind and caring...a true favorite of all her students.
Dear Sisters and Family of Sr. M. Virginia. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you. We are so sorry to lose such a good friend. We received a note from her on Saturday which was dated on the 23rd. She seemed cheerful and was looking forward to her Jubillee. We will cherish that correspondence.
My deepest sympathy for your loss. May you draw close to God during this difficult time. Draw close to God through prayer at this time of great sadness. James4:8
Her legacy flows through so many of us. An inspirational teacher! I remember she said "I will be going to heaven, but first I would like to cross the river Styx"- I am sure she got both!!
Dear Sisters, Associates and Family of Sr. Mary Virginia,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time. Blessings to each of you.
So many of us were blessed to experience Sister Mary Virginia while at St. Bernard's. Her enthusiasm for teaching her beloved students, her enlightened view of the world, the twinkle in her eye were all ways she inspired and touched us. She will be truly missed. Rest in peace, Sister.
Thank you for your influence in my life.
Rest in peace, Sister Mary Virginia.
